Migrating from the the decades-old 2-stroke Honda CR80R, Honda began production of the 2-stroke Honda CR85R and CR85R Expert in 2004. The 6-speed motocross dirt bike featured a reed-valve induced flat-slide PWK 28mm carburetor for ideal throttle response throughout the powerband. The CD ignition was a maintenance free digital setup and heavy duty clutch featured improved friction discs and stainless steel clutch for longevity. The Pro-Link rear suspension system features a fully adjustable Showa shock for superb compliance and wheel control. The adjustable front brake lever and master-cylinder assembly are the same components utilized on the CR125R and CR250R.
